Booking and prices
How quickly can you come out?
For most repairs we can visit the same day or the next working day. Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and your area and we will give you the earliest slot.
Do you charge for a visit?
Maintenance visits have a small inspection charge that is deducted from the repair if you go ahead. Renovation site visits and quotes are free.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. The technician explains what the problem is and what it costs before any chargeable work. Nothing extra is added without your approval.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?
All of Dubai, from JVC, Dubai Investment Park and Al Furjan to the Marina, Downtown, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills and Mirdif.
Do you work on weekends?
We work Saturday to Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm. Out-of-hours work for offices and shops can be arranged in advance.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. If something we repaired or installed fails because of our workmanship, we come back and fix it at no charge.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, card or cash after the job. For renovations we agree staged payments linked to progress in the contract.
Do your prices include VAT?
Guide prices on our website exclude 5% VAT. Every quote and invoice shows VAT clearly.
Maintenance and repairs
How often should an AC be serviced in Dubai?
For most homes, two to three times a year: before summer, in mid-summer and once in the cooler months. Units in dusty locations, near construction or running all night may need it more often. We recommend an interval for your system after the first inspection.
Why is water dripping from my indoor unit?
Almost always a blocked or badly sloped condensate drain, sometimes a dirty coil that freezes and then drips. It is worth fixing quickly because the water damages ceilings, gypsum and paint.
Do you fix leaks that are affecting the apartment below?
Yes. We trace where the water is coming from, repair it and can provide a short report for your building management or neighbour.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Usually an overloaded circuit, a faulty appliance, moisture in a socket or fitting, or a failing breaker. We isolate each part of the circuit to find which one, then fix the cause instead of just resetting it.
What can a handyman do in one visit?
Most small installation and repair jobs: hanging and mounting, curtains and blinds, fixtures, silicone, furniture assembly and minor plumbing or electrical swaps. Send us your list and we will estimate the time.
Can you waterproof without removing the tiles?
There are surface sealers for grout lines, but they rarely fix a real leak. If the membrane under the tiles has failed, the lasting repair is to lift the tiles, waterproof properly, test and retile.
Renovation
Do I need approval to renovate my apartment?
Most buildings require approval from building management or the developer for anything beyond painting, and some work needs an authority permit. We check your building's requirements and prepare the paperwork.
How long does an apartment renovation take?
A kitchen or bathroom on its own usually takes two to four weeks. A full one or two-bedroom apartment typically takes six to ten weeks, depending on scope, approvals and material lead times.
How much does a villa renovation cost in Dubai?
It depends on size, scope and finish level. A kitchen or bathroom upgrade costs a fraction of a full villa refurbishment with layout changes. After a site visit we give you an itemised quote so you can decide where to spend.
Do I need a NOC to renovate my villa?
Most master communities require a NOC from the developer for renovation work, and structural, MEP or exterior changes may also need an authority permit. We check the requirements for your community and prepare the submission.
Do you flood test the waterproofing?
Always. The area is filled with water for 24 to 48 hours before tiling to confirm there are no leaks.
Can you keep my layout and just change the look?
Yes. Replacing doors, worktops, splashback, handles and lighting on the existing layout is a cost-effective way to transform a kitchen.
Maintenance contracts
What is an annual maintenance contract?
A yearly agreement where we look after your property for one fixed fee: scheduled visits to service the AC and check plumbing and electrics, plus breakdown call-outs without a labour charge and discounted parts.
Is an AMC worth it for an apartment?
If your AC needs servicing two or three times a year and you usually need a few small repairs, a plan normally costs less than paying for each visit, and you get priority booking in summer when everyone is busy.
What is not covered?
Parts and materials, new installations, renovation work and damage caused by misuse are not included in the fee, but are discounted for plan members. We always tell you the cost before doing anything chargeable.
Can landlords put a tenanted property on a plan?
Yes. Many of our plan holders are landlords. We coordinate access with your tenant, send you photos and a short report after every visit and invoice you directly.
